Terms and Conditions at Sparx Winchester Beauty Salon and Skin Clinic

Dear Guests

Your appointments are very important to the team at Sparx and we will always do our very best to fit you in at a time that suits you.  

When you book an appointment with us we will ask you for a booking deposit.  This deposit will be used as part payment towards your service and is fully refundable provided we receive at least 24 hours notice if you need to cancel your appointment.

Your deposit payment will be 50% of the cost of your service.  

Why Do I Have To Pay A Deposit?

Your appointments are very important to us.  We take your booking as a verbal contract between us and the time slot is reserved especially for you.  For this reason, please understand that when you forget or cancel your booking without giving enough notice, your valuable appointment slot will be wasted and we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time.  Not only does that mean lost income for us, but clients on our waiting list miss the opportunity to receive our services. 

While we understand that sometimes schedule adjustments are necessary, we respectfully ask that if you are unable to attend your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance to avoid the loss of your deposit.   If we don’t receive 24 hours’ notice to cancel your appointment then unfortunately, your deposit becomes non-refundable and non-transferable.

We will confirm your appointment with you 48 hours in advance because we know how easy it is to forget an appointment you booked months ago. 

Our Deposit and Cancellation policy gives us the time to inform our standby guests of any availability and keeps our team members’ schedules filled.  Thank you for your understanding.

Skin Allergy Patch Tests

Some of our services require you to have a quick allergy patch test 48 hours in advance.  If you are informed that this is a requirement on booking, please ensure that you visit us for the test in sufficient time to avoid disappointment on the day of your appointment.  Unfortunately, booking deposits will not be refunded if you do not visit us to have an allergy test in sufficient time.

Appointment Confirmation Email and Text

As a courtesy, we will call and confirm your appointment by email (5 business days in advance) and by text (48 hours prior to your appointment date). However, if we are unable to reach you, and can only leave a message, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and the loss of your deposit.

Please make sure that we have your most up to date details on our system so we can contact you about your appointment.

Our aim is to provide you with an excellent level of service and our policies help us to achieve this.  Thank you for your understanding.
