How Do Radio Frequency Skin Treatments Work?
Radio frequency (RF) treatments use low-frequency electro magnetic radio waves which, when absorbed by the water in the skin, create energy which then turns into gentle heat.
The heat stimulates the cells that make collagen and elastin, called ‘fibroblasts’. Over a course of treatments, the collagen and elastin builds up, firming and tightening the skin. To see the full impact, it often takes at least six treatments, although many people experience a tighter, firmer, brighter skin in the first few days as the heat causes the skin to contract and tighten.
Why Use Gold Conductors?
Golden conductors are used in this treatment as gold is one of the best conductors of electricity. It doesn’t tarnish making it safe and effective for skin care treatments.
