Laser Treatments to Improve Facial Redness caused by Rosacea

skin treatments, anti-ageing laser treatments, sparx beauty salon in Winchester, HampshireAt Sparx Beauty, we can use safe and effective Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) treatments to improve the appearance of your skin.  IPL treatments help reduce the redness, dilated blood vessels, and breakouts that are linked to rosacea.

IPL works by directing high-intensity pulses of light onto the area to be treated. During the procedure, your IPL specialist will gently press a special handpiece against the treatment area to administer the light.

You may need a series of four to six treatments held at four to six-week intervals. You can expect to see some improvement after two weeks and the effects should last for at least 12 months.  People usually experience a stinging sensation, like being snapped by an elastic band, during the treatment which tends to last around 15 minutes.  Side effects are rare – perhaps some mild redness and swelling for a day or two.

Please note:  IPL is not effective on darker skin tones or tanned skin.

Dermaroller Therapy to Improve the Appearance of Rosacea

Dermaroller Therapy is an advanced micro-medical needling treatment that improves the skin’s texture, tone and colour – making it a good choice if you are suffering from Rosacea.

Tiny micro-needle perforations are performed to stimulates the skin so it can regenerate and repair itself naturally.  New collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced to give you smoother and clearer skin.  The procedure is painless and safe and is controlled to the highest standards of safety and hygiene.
